Summary:   Full-Service Salon & Spa by day… Performance theatre at night! Victoria’s Hair On Stage presents a fast-paced, wacky, cabaret-style show called WIGGED OUT! You’ll laugh at the day to day dealings in life, love, and American pop culture past and present.

This year, salon owner “Scarlett O’Hair” is in danger of losing the business…to mob moll Victoria Gotti (oh no!). Can Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, “Spammy” Davis Jr. and a big Vegas finale save the salon? Are Britney Spears, Schrek, Oprah, stripping superheroes, and dueling divas any help at all? Join them for an evening of all singing, all dancing, not-at-all serious side splitting hilarity to find out!

Summary:   Oakland’s Paramount Theatre is one of the finest remaining examples of Art Deco design in the United States. Designed by renowned San Francisco architect Timothy L. Pflueger and completed in late 1931, it was one of the first Depression-era buildings to incorporate and integrate the work of numerous creative artists into its architecture and is particularly noteworthy for its successful orchestration of the various artistic disciplines into an original and harmonious whole.

GUIDED TOURS OF THE PARAMOUNT THEATRE
Public tours of the Paramount Theatre are given on the first and third Saturdays of each month, excluding holidays. No reservations are necessary. Tours begin promptly at 10:00 am at the Box Office entrance on 21st Street near Broadway. The tour lasts about 2 hours and provides a full and informative view of the Theatre. Cameras are allowed. Admission is $1.00 per person. Children must be at least 10 years old and adult chaperones are required. Please note that some areas of the tour are not wheelchair accessible.

Summary:   Founded in 1968, Berkeley Repertory Theatre has established itself as one of this country’s top-ranking professional resident theatre companies, known for its consistently high-quality productions. Winner of the 1997 Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre, its national reputation draws theatre artists from around the country to work on a variety of productions from September through July. The season consists of seven productions of the finest classic, contemporary and new plays. In March 2001, Berkeley Rep opened The Roda Theatre, a 600-seat proscenium theatre that complements the existing 400-seat thrust stage, creating a vital and versatile performing arts complex. In December 2001, the company opened the , housed next-door in the Nevo Education Center. The School of Theatre offers a wide variety of educational programs designed to enrich the theatre-going experience through extensive training for the working professional, the emerging artist and the theatre enthusiast, as well as numerous community outreach programs throughout the nine-county Bay Area.
